Pt Lincoln Long Range Charter Expeditions
A chunky bluefin Crusader III - 65 footer
Crusader III is a fully equipped and luxuriously appointed long-range charter vessel. Based in the beautiful Pt Lincoln Cove Marina, the 65 footer regularly plies the waters around lower Eyre Peninsula, with the range to travel well into the Southern Ocean in pursuit of heavyweight gamefish.

She sleeps up to twelve passengers and two crew, in fully air-conditioned accommodation. Two bathrooms, a vast saloon/dining area, cappuccino machine and even clothes drier ensure your stay on board will be as comfortable as possible. Skipper, David Clayfield, is not only well versed in boat handling and a seasoned angler; he's also a top shelf cook and a warm and friendly host. As far as sportfishing is concerned, Crusader III is as well set up as any charter vessel in the country, providing the ultimate combination of comfort and no nonsense 'fishability'.

Catch awesome samson fish
Ultimate Fishing's long-range charters operate in April, May and June, capitalising on South Australia's predictable and generally stable autumn weather. Duration is five days' fishing, with some of the best big fish action coming after dark. Target species include southern bluefin tuna, samson fish, blue groper, snapper and some of the biggest yellowtail kingfish in the world. The largest kingfish caught during our 2004 trips weighed an incredible 48 kilograms - that is 107 pounds in the old scale!

Included in the Crusader III package is top quality food, red and white wine, beer, soft drink and bait. The fishing guides boast decades of experience in these waters, so they know how, when and where to tackle our toughest gamefish.
This is true adventure fishing in locations visited only by professional lobster boats and a handful of amateurs each year.

Included in the charter package: Share accommodation aboard Crusader III for 5 nights Alcohol (wine and beer), soft drinks Top quality bait, freezer capacity for up to 500kg of fish As much fishing guidance and advice as you need to make the trip successful.
